Since I had a Todd I wanted to turn into a blond for the purpose of appearing in "On the Avenue", I experimented with creating molded hair. My first Todd, who I had from around the age of 11 or 12, needed a make-over. What was wrong with him? He went swimming a lot and nearly all his flocked hair fell out. All that was left was a few strands of flocked hair and the dark cap it was flocked too. I could have tried to re-flock his hair or give him rooted hair (but I was already experimenting with re-rooting on another doll and wasn't in the mood to do it again.). Molded hair didn't seem like a bad option. He also needed a new body, his neck knob thingy was broken. So this was my result. His hair ended up being a brighter yellow than intended and it didn't exactly turn out the way I planned. Plus I did I real hack job of re-painting his eyebrows. I gave him a new skateboard Stacie body. Even though I'm not completely satisfied he's now happily off to live with his new family. Bye Kenny Smith.
