Sophia’s Story
Kylie needed time and a friend to move past her failed relationship with Ellis, so Sophia gave her as much time as she could.
Sophia talked to Andrea occasionally and hung out with her a few times, but she had to be there for Kylie.
Now, one month after the break-up, Kylie seemed ready to try the dating scene again and wanted to drag Sophia into it with her.
Kylie: Come on, I need to start dating again. I just need you to double with me and get things started.
Sophia: I told you I have plans with Dre that night.
Kylie: She'll understand. I mean you're just hanging out with her, it not like you're dating.
Sophia: I guess you're right. So what's the guy's name?
Kylie: Brian. And he's so hot, you won't belive...
Sophia let Kylie go on and on about the guy. She didn't really want to go, but it was what Kylie needed. And she hadn't really ever told Dre they were anything more than friends. Still, saying yes to the date felt wrong
somehow.
