Sophia’s Story
It all began one day in the spring when her brother was home for a visit. He worked as a model and spent the majority of his time working out of town. Which put a strain on his relationship with his sister's friend Kylie.
The family had just finished dinner, but was still sitting at the dinner table talking. (seated around the table from left to right: Bill, Sophia, Ellis, and Maria)
Maria: So Ellis, thinking about college yet?
Ellis: My career's going great mom, why should I?
Maria: Ellis, you can't model forever.
Ellis: College isn't going anywhere mom. By the time I'm ready to go, I could pay my tuition on my own.
Maria: Going back is never as easy as you think.
Bill: Honey, leave the boy alone.
Ellis: Mom, I'm going to be working with Woody Hilland next month. And my agent is in talks to get me in, check this out, 'Mutant Squad -- the movie'.
Bill: Mutant Squad?
Sophia: You must remember, it was this really cheesy cartoon that was out when we were little. It's also a comic book.
Ellis: But the movie will be missing the cheesiness of the cartoons.
Ellis: Ma, dad, that was a great dinner, but we got to go. I promised some friends we'd be at a party tonight.
Maria: But honey--
Sophia: Kylie's going to be there mom.
Maria: Oh, well, I guess your girlfriend deserves some time too. Have fun baby.
