Maria sat down, still trying to understand what was going on. Dre tried not to interphere and just sat out the way.
Maria: Why were you --- I thought you were friends.
Sophia: We started out that way. It became a little more than that.
Maria: More? How much more?
Sophia: I'm in love with her.
Maria: She's a girl.
Sophia: I know it's hard for you to understand.
Maria: No it's not hard for me to understand, because there's nothing to understand. This is not happening.
Sophia: It is happening mom. I'm in love with Andrea and she loves me too.
Andrea: It's true Ma'm.
Sophia: We wanted to tell you and dad and Ellis, but I just couldn't...
Maria: Stop. just stop, this is not happening. Not here, it won't. In fact (to Dre) I want you out this house.
Sophia: Mom!
Maria: I want her gone.
