Sophia’s Story
Sophia and Ellis got in his car and headed off to the Party one of Ellis friends was having.
Sophia: You gonna tell her tonight?
Ellis: I guess it's time to get it over with. It's going to be so hard, she's been my girlfriend forever.
Sophia: At least you get to leave town after. I have to stick around for the hurt of the break-up.
Ellis: I've put you in an awkward position, huh?
Sophia: Well, it is weird. You're my little brother and my best friend for life. But Kylie and I have gotten really close over the years.
Ellis: I'm sorry.
Sophia: It's okay. I understand, you have to move on. It's just in her mind you're already married with the 2.5 kids and the dog.
Ellis: It's weird, I still care about her. But I'm just out of high school and starting my life, I'm not ready for all that. But I can't keep stringing her along. You lucky you ain't let no guy grab
a hold of you long enough to hold you to him.
Sophia: Never met a guy I wanted to hold on. I always thought I'd know that special one when he came along, but I'm starting to believe he doesn't exist. Maybe I read to many fairy tales, then again, if this was a fairy tale I wouldn't exactly be the princess. I mean look at me.
Ellis: What about you? We share the same genes and I just got voted one of the
hottest new faces in advertising.
Sophia: That's cause you got all the pretty genes underwear boy.
Ellis: Hey, I only did one underwear ad and it got me started.
