The Flying Car Adventure
(After Hermione got free, the girl returned to Scully’s office with Hermione. Scully wasn’t alone, she was with some Barbie and seemed a little busy. They were about to leave when Scully looked up.)
Scully: I know the boys took the car. What is she doing out of her box?
Fern: She’s the only witness, we thought you might need to speak to her.
Scully: I could have gone to her and spoke to her. The last thing I need is
another unauthorized kid doll on the lose. Anyway, you girls don’t have to worry, Sophia has been put in charge of the search.
Sophia: I’m just getting authorization for a car.
Hermione: But their car flies.
Sophia: What?
Scully: Toy cars can’t fly.
Hermione: Well, if the regular doll cars can drive, why can’t a magic toy car really fly?
Sophia: Forget a car then, I think we’re going to need a plane and a pilot. I know where I can find a pilot.
Scully: And a plane?
Sophia: One of the monsters has one. And unlike most of their cars, it’s in excellent condition.
Hermione: (in a whisper) Monsters?
Erika: Dawn’s little sisters.
Hermione: But why are they called Monsters?
Erika: They use to destroy dolls, chew hands and feet and stuff. Some of the the newer dolls have
survived better. I think they’ve outgrown chewing on dolls but the thought of ending up with chewed hands or feet still scares most of the dolls, so they’re called ‘the Monsters’.
Sophia: The monsters are at school. I don’t think there’s any danger. Besides, I won’t be going alone. I’ll have the pilot and the girls.
Scully: The girls aren’t going.
Sophia: They know the boys and the car, I’ll probably need them.
Scully: I don’t like it, but I’m going to let you have them. Please exercise caution
(So all the girls followed Sophia out the office)
