After they left the classroom, Anakin slipped away from the group and went off on his own. Mostly to avoid anyone else talking about what happened with the monsters at Day Care. He looked at his saber, wondering if he deserved it at all. He wasn't a hero and he didn't deserve to be looked at as one.

Padme: Hey lil Ani, why aren't you with your friends? Aren't you excited about who gets picked for camp Ecampelos?

Anakin: A little.

Padme: I see you still have the saber Big Anakin gave you.

Anakin: Yeah, I don't think I deserve it. Everyone's been acting like I'm a big hero for yesterday.

Padme: Well, from what I hear you were. Big Anakin can't stop talking about how proud he is.

Anakin: I wasn't very nice at first Padme. I use to be a bit of a jerk. And if Harry hadn't come along, I might have kept being a jerk.

Padme: I don't believe that, but in the end it doesn't matter why you changed Ani -- only that you changed.

Anakin: Thanks Padme.

Padme: And I don't think Harry changed you, maybe not even big Anakin. You're just finding the inner Anakin. The Anakin even Padme loved from the time she was 14.

Anakin: You really think she sort of liked Anakin back then?
