1.1: The End of Summer
(Karen ran after Benny and eventually caught up with him)
Karen: Benny! Benny wait! Ben, wait a second.
Ben: Why?
Karen: Don’t give up on her.
(Benny stopped)
Ben: What do you care?
Karen: I care because you’re my friend and she’s my sister. And I just know you’ll be good for each other.
Ben: She doesn’t think so.
Karen: That’s because she can’t see past Harold right now. It won’t last.
Ben: How do you know?
Karen: Because she knows, like I do, that you saw her before anyone else. When we were little and mom use to dress us like clones and everyone got us all mixed up, you knew Kim from Karen. You always knew Kim from Karen. You were the first person that made us feel like individuals. Harold is a phase, an annoying one at that. She’ll see you one day and she’ll love what she sees, just give her time.
Ben: Thanks Karen
(Karen gave Benny a big hug before they parted company)
