1.1: The End of Summer
(Francisco and Karen had volunteered to come by Kelley Kids Kare that evening and help out watching the kids while Mrs. Carr properly interviewed her new possible, Day Care assistant.)
(Neither of them had met her, as she was there before they got there helping with some art project the kids were doing. Interacting with the kids was part of the interview process. By the time the teenagers got there, all the kids were being hearded outside by Mrs. Carr and Francisco and Karen took over their play time supervision.)
(The applicant was in the Day Care’s Office as Mrs. Carr conducted the final part of the job interview there. The applicant was, of course, Sophia Clark. And one Day Care kid refused to leave Sophia’s side. Maniya Carr, who was not yet two, had gotten quite attached to Sophia in a short amount of time. Mrs. Carr saw this as a plus, as Maniya was always a very fussy baby and didn’t always respond well to strangers.)
