Mrs. Carr: Well Francisco, she’ll be starting here next Monday. So you don’t need to worry yourself about that anymore. Now, you two, get out of here. Enjoy what’s left of your summer. You start school next week.
Francisco: You sure. I mean, you still have three children you have to get home even after all the parents come. And Molly’s not here to help you.
Mrs. Carr: I can handle my children son. And dad’s home, I’ll call him if I can’t. Don’t get mad at me for that, he’s my husband, your father.
Francisco: Okay, Okay,
I’ll see you later mom.
(Sophia thought that was a bit of an odd exchange. Why would Francisco have a problem with his mother calling his father about their children? But she didn’t ask any questions, as it was none of her bussiness.)
