1.10: Confessions
(When Erika walked in, Sophia was preparing dinner.)
Sophia: Weren’t you told to stay away from Shawn?
Erika: It’s none of your business. You’re not my mom or my dad, for that matter.
Sophia: You’re right.
Erika: We just walked home together, we didn’t break any laws.
Sophia: You wanna help me cook dinner?
Erika: No.
Sophia: Well, will you at least sit and talk with me?
Erika: About what?
Sophia: Me and you, me and your mom, and anything else that’s bothering you that you feel you need to say to me.
(Erika thought about it a minute.)
Erika: Let me go put my bookbag down and stuff.
