1.17: Love’s Consequences
(After taking picture and the initial dance with their dates they began to break off as couples to mix, mingle, and socialize with friends)
(Harold saw Benny chatting with Lina and came over to talk to him.)
Harold: What’s up player.
Benny: Nothing much.
Harold: I see you still playing the ‘just friends’ card with Kim to sucker her into dates. Maybe one day it will work.
(Harold chuckles)
Benny: Why you always got to rag on me man?
Harold: I’m just kidding around Ben, you know you my boy.
Benny: Maybe I’m sick of your type of kidding around.
(Angry, Benny walked away)
(And Lina shocked Harold with a smack to the back of the head)
Harold: Ow!! What?!!!
Lina: How could you do that to him? You know how much he likes Kim.
Harold: It was just a joke. Even he knows Kim will never be serious about him.
Lina: This is his prom night Harold and he’s with his dream girl. Maybe for a little while he’d like to believe it’s more than a pity date.
Harold: I didn’t think about that.
Lina: Well think next time.
