1.11: Valentines
Mrs. Carr: Sophia, believe me, I’m tempted to cross that line with you. Because I am so..(pause)
Sophia: You’re so what?
Mrs. Carr: Attracted to you. Everytime I look at you, I want you.
Mrs. Carr: And I can’t stop it from being there, no matter how hard I try. But I can’t, we can’t–
Sophia: Why not?
(Francisco had only caught the end of the conversation and it was shocking enough to hear his mother admit an attraction to Sophia, it was completely weird to see them lean forward for a kiss. Even though he had pushed a romantic relationship between them, it was his mother and he certainly wasn’t going to watch. So he turned to leave.)
(But what shocked him even more than the scene he just saw, was turning toward the door only to see his father coming.)
