1.11: Valentines
(Francisco Jr. ran out the door to stop Francisco Sr.)
Francisco: Dad, what are you doing here?
Mr. Carr: I’m here to surprise your mother. For Valentine’s day, I’m giving her me.
Francisco: You shouldn’t do that here. The kids are napping.
Mr. Carr: So? I’m not going to wake them up. And what are you doing here at this time of day anyway?
Francisco: Today was a half day of school. I was coming by to see if mom needed any help. You know what, you should go home. Erika’s probably there and–
Mr. Carr: I’ll see Erika this evening, I want to see my wife.
(Mr. Carr pushed past his son and Francisco knew there was nothing more he could do. He decided to go home. This scene would go down the way it was going to go down.)
