Act III
(Valentines Day came and that day found Sophia coming by the Carr House to baby-sit so that the Carr couple could go out to dinner. Sophia was surprised to be asked as she figured her friend wanted to keep her as far away from her husband as possible, but not only was Mrs. Carr going out, Francisco, Deven, and Ian were going to be at a school dance and Shanice was going out with her boyfriend. And she knew if the kids had their preferance, they’d want to be with Sophia and she trusted Sophia so she called her. )
Francisco: Yeah, but you’re going to be here alone alone while my dad plays Mr. Romantic Romeo.
Sophia: Give your dad a break.
Francisco: Why should I? And why should you?
Sophia: Don’t start again Francisco. It’s not–
Francisco: I saw you okay. That half day of school, I came by the Day Care, you and mom were in her office. You were kissing.
