(The next day at the middle school…)
Erika: I’m not going to abandon my friend.
Kenny: Don’t you have a piano lesson after school today?
Erika: I’ll skip it.
Kenny: I thought it was important to you.
Erika: It is.
Kenny: Suddenly Shawn’s more important.
Erika: This has nothing to do with what’s more important or less important. I need to talk to Shawn and it’s really none of your bussiness!
(Erika stomped away after that.)
(Kenny sadly slumped against the lockers)
