(That evening, Mrs. Carr lay in bed thinking about how complicated her life was becoming.)
(For the the first time, she was glad her husband hadn’t stayed long. There was an increasing tension in there relationship and she didn’t think she could have dealt with it for much longer than she did. Just a few weeks earlier…)
Mr. Carr: What’s wrong Dawn?
Mrs. Carr: Nothing, I’m just not in the mood.
Mr. Carr: But, I came for Valentines–
Mrs. Carr: And I’m happy you’re here.
Mr. Carr: But you haven’t been in the mood since I came home and you resist when I kiss you.
Mrs. Carr: I do not.
Mr. Carr: You do, I can feel it. It’s like you don’t want me near you. Are you having an affair?
