1.13: The Marshalls
(The next day, Francisco, Deven, and Ian came home to a very crowded kitchen. Karen had come home with the Carr boys to see how Sharice was doing. Knowing Mrs. Carr would be busy with other thing, Shanice hadn’t gone to class that day, she stayed home to help out with the little kids.)
Francisco: I should have stayed home with her.
Karen: Your mom had it handled. Is the day care open today?
Ian: Sophia’s there. Mom left her kids home though, along with Courtney and Robby. She figured since Sophia’s alone today, it would be easier if there were less children to deal with.
Deven: I can’t believe this. I thought Trax was cool. Now I don’t know what to think.
(Harold came through the door.)
Several Voices: Hey Harold.
Harold: Hey, is Sharice here?
Francisco: I don’t think she’s in the mood for a date Harold.
Harold: I know that San Fran.
Francisco: Don’t call me that.
Harold: Why you trippin’? She’s my girl, I just want to see if she’s ai’ight.
