Francisco: I can tell you’re upset. What brought you over here tonight?
Reese: My dad’s homeboy, Jared, he’s out and he’s at my house.
Francisco: Oh no.
Reese: Yeah, that’s what I thought when I came home and found him. And he was just smiling, like he’d never done a thing to me.
Francisco: You can’t let things go back to the way they were before.
Reese: I know that, but he hasn’t done anything wrong yet. He’s just there.
Francisco: Talk to your dad, let him know what you’re worried about.
Reese: I can’t talk to my dad.
Francisco: Why?
Reese: Same reason you can’t talk to your dad. We don’t have heart-to-heart conversations. My dad’s a stranger in my life.
Francisco: It’s different, my dad’s not around for me to talk to. Your dad’s there, you can break down that invisible wall and talk to him. And you need to, for Courtney and Robby’s sake.
