(Sharice’s initial worry seemed to be out of place, as nothing out of the ordinary seemed to be going on. Her father was ignoring her presence in favor of hanging out with Jared, but that was it. Which she tried to explain to the worried Francisco.)
Reese: Well it’s been a week and so far so good, he and Jared haven’t done anything but work on his album.
Francisco: So far.
Reese: I live with it, not you, so you’re negativity is sooooo not needed.
Francisco: I’m sorry. It’s just, I know what Jared did to you, what your dad let him do. And I know what you went through with your dad’s addiction. I don’t want to see it repeated. Especially since Courtney and Robby have never had to go through it.
Reese: I feel the same way, but so far they’re okay so I’m not going to rock the boat.
Francisco: But know, if your dad ever screws up. You got me.
