(A few hours later, after much discussion among themselves, the Stevens parents decided it was time to talk to the kids)
Stacy: What’s going on?
Mr. Stevens: Stacy, we–
Mrs. Stevens: I got this one.
Mrs. Stevens: Sweetie, for some reason we’ve been fighting becoming a family. Dad and I have figured out that’s not doing any of us any good. So to help us all, we’re going to be getting some family counseling.
Stacy: Me too?
Mrs. Stevens: It will be family counseling. Mostly for Shawn’s adjustment, but in the end for all of us.
Stacy: But I’m not nuts, he is. Aren’t you Shawn?
