Sophia: She says that all the time and the truth is, she’s not that old.
Ellis: So you’ve discussed this with her.
Sophia: It’s come up. (Sophia receives stares from her father and brother) Okay fine, you want honestly, I admit it, I love her, more than I ever loved Dre. Dre and I we sort of rushed through everything, we were never friends we were just… just lovers. But with Dawn it’s about quiet moments, it’s about doing things together, it’s about doing things together with the kids. It’s just about being really deeply connected.
Ellis: She’s MARRIED sis.
Sophia: I know that, that’s why we’re just friends. I love those kids, I’m not going to mess up their family, especially when I finally got Erika to accept my friendship with her mother.
Bill: Erika?
Sophia: Her eleven year old.
Bill: I don’t want to see you hurt by this… infatuation.
Sophia: It’s not an infatuation. And all I want is to see her happy. Whatever that means, I’m willing to do it. My eyes are wide open, I know how complicated this situation is and I’m handling it with care.
