(Much, much, later that day. Ben found Stacy walking through the halls and decided to get things over with.)
Ben: Hey Stacy, can I talk to you a minute?
Stacy: About what?
Ben: Have you talked to your mom?
Stacy: I talk to her all the time.
Ben: About us?
Stacy: What? Oh, please tell me you’re not going to ask me out!
Ben: So what if I am?
Stacy: You need your mom to get a date, but I don’t.
Ben: I knew this was pointless.
Stacy: Yeah, especially since you’re so sprung on Kim.
Ben: Whatever, forget I said anything.
Stacy: (yelling) I will, I don’t go on dates set up by mom.
