1.2: Back to School
(After class, Deven, Ian, Mick, Stephany and Mie gathered in the hallway.)
Stephany: That was a cheep trick, getting us to write down the names of the partner we wanted, knowing we wouldn’t get them.
Ian: Well, she never actually said write down the name of your partner you want, just the person you know best.
Stephany: She knew what we thought when she said that.
Mick: Who’d you guys pick?
Deven: Ian and I had to pick each other, anything else would have been a lie.
Mick: Well I picked both of you.
Stephany: Of course Mie and I picked each other. Well, see you guys tomorrow.
Guys: See you.
(As the freshman girls walked off, Kim came rushing down the hallway to catch up with Ben)
Kim: Ben, wait up.
Ben: I tried Kim, I can’t talk to that girl. I tried.
