1.2: Back to School

Mr. Carr: But you don’t seem to want me in on the rules, just following yours.
Mrs. Carr: I’m just saying–

Mr. Carr: This household operates without me most of the time. I’m just some stranger who visits on occasion and I should verify with you before taking my own children out.
Mrs. Carr: Why are you attacking me? I had three toddlers at home, I’m pregnant with twins. And the only help I had was Francisco–
Mr. Carr: Junior. Francisco Carr Jr, he’s not the father around here. He had the nerve to speak to me like I was his child. We need to remind him he’s the child, not me.
Mrs. Carr: Francisco.
Mr. Carr: Are you talking to me, your husband, or your son. Can you not tell the difference anymore? Seems like it.

(Then he walked out, leaving her alone.)
