1.2: Back to School
(Both the River parents were shocked by Mie’s eagerness to get to the phone.)
Mie: Hey Mick
Mick: Hey Mie, you called me?
Mie: Yeah, it’s about the notes for Reiley’s class. Do you have the review pages, the page numbers I mean.
Mick: Yeah, hold on. (long pause) We’re suppose to look over the review pages 15 and 25. That all you called for?
(Mrs. River decided to get Michael ready for bed.)
Mie: Umm….yeah. Why weren’t you home earlier?
Mick: Playing basketball with Kirk.
(Mr. River wasn’t going anywhere, he wanted to hear this coversation.)
Mie: Is that your only hobby?
Mick: Of course not, I like video games.
Mie: Typical.
Mick: What’s wrong with Video games?
Mie: Nothing, I like them too. I’m just bad at them.
Mick: I enjoy other things too, like music.
Mie: Really, what kind of music…
