1.6: Crossing the Line
(Mrs. Carr had come home and found a sink full of dirty dishes waiting to be washed. She had taken Me’chelle with her in the kitchen, so she wouldn’t disturb her napping brother and began washing the dishes.)
(That’s where Francisco found her.)
Francisco: Mom, why I don’t I take everyone to the movies this weekend and you can hang out with Sophia. You’d have to keep King and Me’chelle though. I don’t think they’re old enough for a noisy movie yet.
Mrs. Carr: I don’t need to see Sophia.
Francisco: Erika doesn’t have to know about it.
Mrs. Carr: You make it sound like I’m sneaking around behind an ten year old’s back.
Francisco: Please mom, just take a day.
