1.7: The Lost Son
Act II
(When Stacy arrived home from school she was shocked to find her parents sitting and waiting for her. They told they needed to talk and asked her to sit down.)

Mr. Stevens: Baby girl, there’s something I have to tell you. It’s a secret I’ve concealed for nearly 11 years.
Stacy: What? (jokingly) Are you gay or something.
Mrs. Stevens: (mostly to herself) No, he’s definitely not gay.
Mr. Stevens: My secret is, you have a brother. He’s ten years old, going to be 11 on the 28th of this month, just after Christmas. And I’m leaving this evening and coming home with him tomorrow. His mother was model and she–

Stacy: Wait, Stop dad. I don’t have a brother! Mom was never a model and she only had one child, me. And you wouldn’t have… you couldn’t have…
Mr. Stevens: I did. I cheated on your mother and the woman got pregnant. I guess I better start at the beginning. It all started with a party I catered for Malcolm Marshall. You remember him?
Stacy: That quiet girl, Sharice, he was her dad. They moved away a long time ago.
Mr. Stevens: Right, Malcolm got a big record deal of some sort, anyway at the time he was still an up and coming producer who did DJ work on the side. This was a big release party for his new artist and McKelly’s restaurant had just shut down, so I needed the work.
Stacy: Party, you catered, I got it, move on dad.
Mr. Stevens: Kira, your brother’s mother, was just starting out and she was hired to be in the video. That’s why she was at the party. She was there with her boyfriend, but it seems boyfriend had a problem with how Ray Kay touched her in the video. She tried to explain it was just work, but her boyfriend wouldn’t listen. To say the least, some bad stuff happened to her that night. I found her crying and I tried to consol her. I wanted to take her to a hospital, but she just wanted to go home. So I took her home. I patched her up and we ended up talking all night. But it didn’t end there, I’m sorry to say.
