(Amazingly, things had been rather calm at the Carr house. Mrs. Carr and Sophia had actually gotten through the holiday without another conversation about the kiss coming up. They were happy just to be happy with the kids enjoying the holiday. And at the moment they were giving the baby twins their bath.)
