1.8: The New Year
The truth was, Mrs. Carr had made a decission. A decission she would discuss with Sophia when she knew how to word it and not before. Even though she found it flattering this young, beautiful woman found her so desirable…she knew that second kiss had to be the end of it. She had come quite close to making a mistake she swore she’d never make again, but she wouldn’t, she couldn’t, put herself in that position again. And, more implortantly, it was the last thing she wanted for Sophia. She deserved better than that.
