1.8: The New Year
Mick: You didn’t sneak out did you?
Mie: Of course not. But I did leave out the fact certain people would be meeting us at the movies.
Mick: Why?
Mie: My dad’s unfair, that’s why.
Mie: I can’t believe dad won’t let me celebrate New Years and MY birthday with you guys.
Francisco: Don’t worry, I’ll talk to my mom, she’ll talk to your parents, and we’ll hook it up.
Mie: Thanks Francisco.
Francisco: No problem. We new years babies got to stick together.
(With that decided, they all got in line and headed in to see the movie)
