(A few hours later, Francisco’s closest friends were gathered in his living room enjoying his little Birthday/New Years celebration.)
(Nelson Kirk and Lina were trying to bring up Mick’s spirits as he was feeling down about Mie not being able to attend the occassion.)
Kirk: Mick, cheer up.
Mie: I never knew having a girlfriend could be this hard.
Kirk: It’s worth it Mick. Especially when you love her. And I know you love her like I love Lina.
Lina: You’re so sweet Nelson.
Mick: I wish we were like you guys. You guys have it so easy.
Lina: Are you kidding, my mom flipped when I started dating. Parents don’t like to accept that there kids have these types of feelings, it’s hard for them but they adjust. Time will help everything.
