1.9: Together Again
(Sophia then arrived. Mrs. Carr and Sophia worked out an arrangement a short time ago. The day sitter for the babies was some times a little delayed in arriving in the morning, so Sophia now came by every morning to walk the Carr tots to Day Care. If the babies’ sitter was there, she and Mrs. Carr went in together. If she wasn’t, Sophia took the little ones in, set up, and started morning activities until Mrs. Carr got there. )
Sophia: Hey Dawn, the kids ready.
Mrs. Carr: Yeah, my three, plus two.
Sophia: So see you in about an hour?
Mrs. Carr: Yeah
(Sophia left with her little army behind her as Francisco went to talk to Sharice.)
Reese: I got all those messages you left last night.
Francisco: Well why didn’t you call me back. I mean, I heard you went out with Harold.
(Doorbell rings)
Mrs. Carr: (as she leaves) That’s the sitter.
Reese: That’s right, we went out and I didn’t come back til morning. I didn’t see the point in calling you, I had school the next day and we would see each other then.
Francisco: And how does your dad feel about you staying out like that?
Reese: Biscuit, don’t go there.
