1.9: Together Again
(Francisco headed to his Science class after his clash in the hall with Karen.)
Kirk: Yo Francisco, what’s up? Why you so down?
Lina: Not that Sharice stuff again.
Francisco: What do you mean, that Sharice?
Lina: I mean exactly what I said. This has been a nightmare for Karen and it’s not fair.
Francisco: Why is everyone trying to make this something it isn’t?
Lina: Maybe because you’re the only one blind enough to believe this is platonic. There’s nothing platonic about what’s going on with your two.
Francisco: She was with Harold all last night, not me.
Lina: But I bet you spent all last night thinking about her. How is that fair? How is that right? It’s not.
(Lina turned away from him and got in her seat.)
Kirk: If you want to stay with Karen, you better do something about this Sharice thing. I don’t know what, but you gotta do it. This is a mess.
(As he sat down for class, Francisco knew Kirk had a point. He had to do something, he just didn’t know what)
