(Soon after Mrs. Carr left the room, Shanice ran in the room.)
Mr. Carr: I hear there’s a new young man in your life.
Shanice: Yeah, he’s amazing, but he’s not here today.
(The Toddlers ran to there father and climbed in his lap.)
Mr. Carr: How are my little ones?
Toddlers: Good.
Mark: Daddy, I go with you and Francisco? It a boy camp, right?
Mr. Carr: Yeah, but it’s for big boys. We’ll do something together when I get back, okay?
Mark: ‘kay
(Shanice kneeled beside her brother.)
Shanice: Give him a chance. Maybe he’ll surprise you.
Francisco: I’ll try.
