1.16: Betrayed
Act I
Mrs. Carr, Sophia, and the toddlers were waiting in the car for Sharice while she packed up the last of her things. Francisco had been helping someone else all day, so he hadn’t had a chance to talk to Sharice about the move.
Francisco: You know, it’s kind of pointless. Eventually my mom is going to drop my dad, as she should have years ago. Then she and Sophia are going to have one of those commitment ceremony things and she’ll be living here.
Sharice: And that’ll be perfect, because then I can have the apartment to myself.
(And then, with a kiss on the cheek, she left)
