Act II
(That day at school, Mick approached Mie in the hallway.)
Mick: Hey Mie.
Mie: Hey Mick
Mick: You know, I talked to my brother and I’m thinking about having the party and I was wondering.
(Suddenly Stephany appeared in the hall and joined them.)
Stephany: Hey Mie, hey Mick.
Mick: Hey Stephany.
Mie: Mick was just telling me he was thinking about having a party.
Mick: Just a small thing.
Stephany: Really, you got a date for it?
Mick: Not yet.
Stephany: I could be your date.
Mick: Uh, um…
Mie: I think that would be cool. Stephany being there would totally be a way I could talk my parents into letting me go.
Mick: Really? Cool.
Stephany: So it’s a date?
Mick: Yeah, I guess. Well I better get to class.
Stephany & Mie: Bye Mick.
Mick: Bye Steph… bye Mie.
(Stephany and Mie started off for class together once he had gone.)
Stephany: He’s so cool You see the way he was all like ‘Yeah, I guess’.
Mie: Yeah, I guess.
(The friends look at each other and laugh)
Mie: He really is the sweetest guy. I’m so glad I got partnered with him, or I would have never gotten to know that.
Stephany: You don’t like, like him, do you?
Mie: No way, he’s all yours.
