(Tina then pulled up on her scooter)
Tina: What are you two talking about?
Erika: I made my mom promise to never ever date Sophia. My mom would never break a promise to me.
Tina: You made her promise? That means you had to tell her you thought it might happen. Aren’t you afraid you sort of put the thought in her head?
Erika: What?!
Tina: She may have never thought of Sophia that way and now that you made her promise, she has to think about it.
Erika: No, she promised, that’s the end of it.
Tina: How many times have you heard of parents making something forbidden and then that just make the kid want it even more? Well, you’ve just made Sophia forbidden, that might make your mom want her even more.
Erika: But it can’t happen, cause my mom doesn’t want her, not like that. Cause she not like that.
Tina: Then why would you even have to make her promise.
Kenny: Thanks a lot for ruining her mood Tina.
Tina: I’m just being realistic.
Kenny: Yeah, but do you have any helpful suggestions or are you just making her feel bad?
Tina: Well ….
