The Goblet of Fire Trailer

Well, I have to start off this journal with something right?

Well I saw the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire trailer yesterday (the US one apparently) and then this international trailer deal appears on the net which apparently has more footage. That took another few hours download (I HATE dial-up). But Anyway…

What I thought of the trailer…

Krum….oooooooh, but he’s VERY hot with the scowling.

Fleur’s peeps… what’s with the sigh and the release of Paper birdies or whatever when they enter the great hall? I’ll be rather pissed if they’re ALL part-Veela.

Harry dribbling water…too cute. but who’s he reacting to? The Beaubatons girls or Cho? It’s not the entrance scene, that much is obvious. It’ll be cuter if it’s Cho he’s dribbling over.

I must say, awwwwwww Cho. Somehow seeing her in that bit of a scene, nice and clear and smiling against a snowy Owlery background. Well, she’s pretty hot. Yes Harry, the dribbling makes sense now. Too bad it’s over by the end of the next film, but still your first girlfriends pretty hot (and unlike Mr. Dan, the actress is 18 so I can say that).

Harry asking Cho to the ball. Egh, I’m disappointed. I wanted the eyes downcast and the one word ‘wannagoballwithme’. He looked like he was struggling, but I imagined Harry far more akward then he was in the film. Did I mention that Cho’s hot. Sorry, but she is. Between her and Krum I’m in hottie overload.

Ron…..How funny is it when he has to dance with McGonagal? I CAN’T WAIT to see that scene in full.

Is that Ginny?…during the Ron/McGonagal scene look at the girls sitting there. Three seats down from Hermoione. (view)

Mdm. Maxime makes Hagrid look like a midget at the ball!!

Patil Twins are seen and heard…sweet. I don’t think the PoA Paravati had one line in the last film. Oh yeah, and the Patil twins are hot. There’s an overload of hot girls in GoF. I don’t know who’ll hold my attention more, the girls or the guys.

Glad the ‘Fraternizing the with the Enemy” line made it in, but I’m still not sure the Yule Brawl will hold up to the humorus glory of the original text.

Flitwick looks exactly as he did in PoA (Goblet Champion round-up scene) so is he Flitwick or ‘Wizard’?

Angry Ron in bed (view) …why is that so hot?

The Spider…they just had to actually ATTACK Ron with a spider so he could make a silly face, right?

The Dragon… Can’t tell if I love it or not yet, but it’s pretty cool.

Graveyard…creepy. Just seeing Petigrew over the Cauldron is a reminder of that horrifying scene.

McGonagall at the World Cup? That wasn’t in the book. Why’d they put her there I wonder.

Dumbledore ‘wanding’ out a memory for the pensive… looks… a bit… gross. Like snot is being pulled from the head. This bit of magic is much better in the imagination.

Fleur was also waaaaaay better in the imagination. I mean she’s a cute enough girl, but I’d be more prone to trip over my feet in front of Cho or the Patil girls or Krum or Ron with those bloody sexy kissable lips. The French lot of girls just aren’t that hot.

Moody…I still don’t know how I feel about him, he might be cool.

I saw a peak at Voldy. Yeah, he’s gross.

H/Hr…errrrrr, what’s up with the close proiximity. I don’t remember a hug like that in the book. Well H/Hr, if you don’t get your non-romantic kiss on the cheek you at least get your non-romantic hug after the task. And that whole bit about I guess Emma and Dan can’t help themselves when it comes to chemistry. If Harry and Hermione vibed (in the books) like those two do on screen, sorry I’d be supporting the other side.

The Weird thing is, I’m a R/Hr all the way. Deep down in my heart, I LOVE my R/Hr because they just ARE the cutest little couple, they leak with the innocence of immaturity in the books. And Rupert Grint (my <3 ) does a BRILLIANT job with Emma Watson bringing that special R/Hr something to screen. But Dan and Emma just ooze with this special something else that isn't manufactured or acting. Crap, they're just darn cute together. Makes me wish she had been cast as Ginny a bit (afterall, hair can be dyed). Did I mention Cho is HOT? I'm in love with Katie Leung, I shall sing it all night.
