Act II
(Back at the Tompson house, Mie had gone and so had Mick’s mother. Leaving him with a crying baby. She’d been happily asleep when his mother left him in charge, but now baby Estelle, nicknamed Stella by her brothers, was crying her head off and Mick couldn’t sooth her.)
(Harold walked the floor gently rocking and soothing the crying baby. Eventually, the crying stopped.)
Harold: Sorry you got the kind of mother you do. Mick and I went through it too. I was hoping it would be better for you. guess not.
Mick: She likes you better than me.
