The Family

The parents in the Hill household are Evan Hill, A high school coach, and Leah Hill, a house-wife.

Evan was a super jock in high school, he played 3 sports – Football, Basketball, and Baseball. He was also an above average student and with his
surfer boy looks he didn’t have many troubles with the ladies. Unfortunately, he got his cheerleader girlfriend pregnant and they got married right out of high school.

Evan didn’t get to go away to a big college, because he chose to raise his son Benny. Evan got a job at a gym where he started doing personal training. The couple had a daughter four years after Benny and Leah decided to become a stay at home mom. By then they were living comfortably on Kelley Avenue and a friend of Evan’s had helped him into an
assistant coach position at the high school, which became a permanent coaching
position when his friend got an offer to coach on the college level.

Benny’s always found it hard to live up to his father. He knows his father has always dreamed of him being a star athlete like him, fulfilling all his
unfulfilled dreams. But when it comes to sports, he’s mediocre at best. He has trouble winning the attention of the girl he likes, Kim Wilson. He barely skates on
average when it comes to grades. And his little sister picks on him constantly. Though he picks back the way a big brother should, her teasing bothers him more than his teasing bother’s her. He really believes he’s a loser and Benny’s in a constant fight against himself to think otherwise.
