TO THE ROBIN OF THE RAVEN

Dear Robin, lovely cynical titian you are,

in my perilous path a sincere companion.

Despite the stigma I passed on, we came far

in the search that made our two parts one.

Let not talk of the Raven leave you distraught

for her holds on me are not that strong.

She has never learned to read my heart

and that shared bed long ago seems now wrong.

My Robin your love healed my inner pain.

My other half, please erase those Raven thoughts

that threat breaking your eyes like a storm of rain,

though the shrew inside makes you feign a drought.

Do not hide with me anymore Robin dear,

and understand of the Raven there is nothing to fear.
